THE penultimate round of the National Minimoto Road Racing championship was hosted by Whilton Mill.

James made a slight change to the gearing on the DM overcoming a slight problem with the clutch. All that was needed on the GP70 was adjustments to the chain and set the tyre pressures.

During qualifying James looked impressive on his DM and with some very fast lap time’s qualified pole. On the GP70 James again did some fantastic lap times and qualified pole.

Race one in the Junior Production class, James dropped in to second place but not for long as he charged back in to the lead.  The three front runners pulled away from the field but James kept the lead until the last lap when he was overtook, finishing in second place.

Race two was a carbon copy with James losing the lead on the final lap and crossing10670268_657493204370321_644997798470380629_n the line less than a wheel’s gap from the win.

Race one and two on the GP70, James got good starts and lead comfortable races to take two wins.
