jamesJAMES Alderson hit the track again last weekend, in the second round of the ACU Kawasaki Junior Cup at Silverstone.

Coming in to the weekend the youngster from Durham, North East England was brimming with confidence after a successful first outing at Snetterton.

With changeable weather early on Saturday, James sat holding second in qualifying until the last lap when he was bumped down to seventh.

James was clearly not impressed by the last lap shunt and with four races ahead of him over the weekend set out to make amends.

Over the three races James built up momentum and had some fantastic battles leaving the weekend with a third and two second places.

The fourth race on Sunday had to be abandoned due to a Sidecar dumping oil through some fast parts of the track.

James now sits second in the Championship 2 points ahead of Harry Rowling and 29 points behind Alex Murley.james1

The next round of the ACU Kawasaki Junior Cup is at Oulton Park on the 29th and 30th of May.

As always James would like to thank his sponsors NGK, YRF, EC1 Drinks, Burnell Fencing, Forte, Wiz Racing, Family, Friends and Bikewise for their continued support.
