JAMES Alderson made huge steps this weekend in his bid to gain momentum in the Hel Performance British Motostar Standard Championship.
The North Eastern youngster hampered by terrible luck this season so far. Starting with his Honda Moto3 machine being delayed and missing two rounds as a result and then his clutch failing and was undetected for his first two rounds.
However, James’ season is back on track and started this past weekend at Thruxton. The youngster instantly showed that he could run with the pack posting times that would put him midfield.
Still getting used to the bike he used every session to understand the machine he had been missing for the first two rounds.
“We had a good weekend at Round six of the BSB Hel Moto3 standard class at Thruxton” said James “The weather was great and I qualified tenth overall taking two eighth place in both races. I had some good racing with the other riders and felt we had improved over the weekend, it is a very fast track!

James will be back on track next at the seventh round of the Hel Motostar Standard Championship at Brands Hatch GP circuit on the 5th to the 7th of August.
