YRF Junior Cristina Palmer has completed her first full season of XC and Motocross racing, finishing the North of England XC Junior class as champion for 2016 and the clubs first ever female champion.
The young lady racer from Innerwick, East Lothian started the season off steady picking up high points early on.
However, the youngster was not happy with seconds and thirds and was soon climbing to the top step.
Cristina’s determination and talent has not gone unnoticed throughout the season, as she picked up valued sponsors Rock Oil, Wulfsport and G-Force Suspension. And the young ladies reach grows even further in to 2017 joining WM Moto Racing aboard a Husqvarna 85cc.
“I would like to thank all that have helped me this year, it has been a brilliant year and I’ve really enjoyed the racing” added Cristina “I would also like to thank my YRF team mate Jack Hughes who has pushed me on and helped me this year. I’d also like to thank my parents, G-force suspension, Rock Oil, Wulfsport and the YRF. And I’m really looking forward to getting back out on my bike again ready for next year with WM Moto Racing.”
