THE Young Riders Fund is a unique organisation which was created by a group of passionate motorcycle racing fans who wanted to get involved and offer some sort of help to the sport they love.

Its aims are simple: to identify young, up and coming riders and help them as they take their first steps towards a racing career.

Not only does the Young Riders Fund give a small amount of financial assistance to its riders, it also offers valuable support in all aspects of their racing career.

Riders get the chance to boost their profiles, gain recognition and enjoy mentoring sessions with leading names in the motorcycle racing world.

The fund currently supports three riders – Lewis Rollo, James Alderson and Charlie Atkins. Riders are selected on a year-by-year basis and are nominated by the fund’s supporters, who then take a vote on who to assist.

This element of giving every one of these supporters the opportunity to have a say in who the fund supports is one of the elements that makes the Young Riders Fund so special.

Supporters are all like-minded race fans who donate small amounts of cash from their own pockets whenever they wish to help these youngsters meet the increasing costs of racing.
