Career History
2011: European Superstock 600 Championship – An up and down year saw Josh tackle the hard-fought series with his small family-run team. A difficult season plagued with budget issues and bad luck saw him end the season 18th overall.
2010: European Superstock 600 Championship – Josh made his debut in the championship and made a quick impact, grabbing pole at Brno and another front row at the Nurburgring. He recorded his best finish of fourth at the season finale at Magny Cours and ended the year an impressive 10th.
2009: Supersport 600, German IDM Championship – The youngster joined Gerry Bryce’s Racedays outfit to contest the German series, quickly adapting to the new bike and class under the guidance of Jeremy McWilliams. Aged 14, he became the youngest ever point scorer in just his first race and grabbed a few podiums on his way to finishing 13th overall.
2008: Aprilia and GP 125 Clubman – Ireland’s only Red Bull Rookies Moto GP Cup entrant heralded his arrival by scoring pole, fastest lap and the win in his debut Aprilia 125 race. This was to set the scene for a brief but dominant spell in the Clubman classes. He became the youngest ever winner of a National GP 125 race in Ireland, backing it up with a win at Anglesey later in the year.
2007: Josh made his move to big bikes in May, days after his 13th birthday. Prior to this he had racked up five Irish Mini Moto Championships between the ages of nine and 12.
