THE YRF Juniors is an initiative introduced by the Young Riders Fund in 2012.
Its aim is to find budding child racing stars and give them a helping hand as they learn their way around the fast-paced world of motorcycle racing.
YRF Juniors is open to youngsters aged 13 years and under who are competing in a national motorcycle championships across the UK.
Unlike the main Young Riders Fund, YRF Juniors do not receive any financial help from the organisation. Instead the Fund helps them in other ways.
It offers the chance to learn more about life as a racing star by meeting some of the UK’s leading riders and teams, with tickets to their local Championship rounds.
There they will have the opportunity to meet with our current supported YRF riders Lewis Rollo and James Alderson who will give pointers on how to further develop their careers.
There will also be the opportunity to meet other teams and racing personnel to gain even more insight into life in the fast lane.
Becoming a YRF Junior will also give these youngsters the chance of exposure here on the Young Riders Fund website. They will have their own area to display their profiles and will be able to post reports after each race, with valuable help and advice from the fund’s media team.
The youngsters get to display the YRF logo on their bikes for the season, and also receive branded YRF merchandise to help them really look the part.
