About Charlie

CHARLIE got his first Minimoto at the age of five and got his first taste of racing that year when he entered the last LCRRC round of the season, taking a third place and winning Junior Man of the Meeting. Truly bitten by the bug, he spent the off-season competing in a handful of winter rounds.

2013 is an exciting year for the youngster from Goole, freshly signed to ride in the FAB-Racing Junior Production class for the Scott Redding Young Riders Race Team, he has nothing but the top step in his sights.

Charlie’s 2012 rookie season was a massive success, finishing the season in third position.

2011 saw him make his GP5 debut and his rookie FAB season. Despite a couple of mishaps and some mechanical woes, the youngster still ended the year in a respectable sixth place.

In 2010 he rode a GP4 in the LCRRC as well as taking part in a few FAB races where he quickly found his pace.

2009 was his second year of racing, and he completed half of the LCRRC season, scoring a number of podium finishes.
